IMAP and I recreated the settings a few times to make sure they are exactly as in the instructions. If you need to enter specific values for incoming and outgoing server names, port numbers, or SSL settings, you can use Outlook's advanced setup option. Luckily, just like setting up your SMTP settings, this is a piece of cake.
Use the given feature of MS Outlook or Office365 for connecting the AOL account to Outlook.
Select Manual setup or additional server types, then click Next. Choose the second option of Manual Setup or Additional server types.
